Our Experience
Tabor Built has established itself as a reliable and trusted contractor in the region. Our team has many years of experience working on a variety of projects, from small residential renovations to 'from the ground up' new construction. We can handle part of your project or the whole thing to deliver a turnkey complete build. We do not back down from a challenge and trust our skills and the expert craftsmanship of our team to find solutions in any build. We are experienced in meeting the required code of any county and have successfully completed builds in Greene, Wright, Christian, Webster, Laclede, and Douglas Counties.
About Our Team
Tabor paired up with his Amish team in 2016 when he learned about their invaluable craftsmanship. The Amish are raised at home and taught wood-working skills from a young age. They are taught precision by making every move count as they do not use power tools. It is truly an exceptional and meticulous way to build with quality and care. The value that our Amish add to a project can give you peace of mind and assurance that you are getting a quality build that you can trust, be proud of, and brag about for years to come. In addition to their exceptional craftsmanship, you also get a team of carpenters with high moral value, a clean lifestyle, and a strong work ethic.

Meet our Amish Builders
Jonas - Our lead foreman, whose energy and excitement for life drives the team, has an unmatched work ethic and passion to see the job completed well. He has 11 children, and his eldest son Jacob is now part of the team. In his community he has a leather harness shop and welds for fellow Amish.
Petie - The oldest and most kind-hearted member in our crew, has never met an enemy. He raises chickens on his farm - up to 7000 at a time! In his community he is the Deacon of his church district.
Danny - Previously the youngest member on the team, he surprises customers constantly with his impressive skill level that would seem to not match his age. He has 3 children at home and raises up to 200 calves at a time.

Jesse has been running his own business since 2015 starting with Tabor's Custom Building (TCB) doing decks and remodels. He expanded into Tabor Built, doing shops, barndominiums, houses, metal roofs, and more. Both businesses have 5-star ratings which speaks to Jesse's commitment to customer satisfaction.
